Absolutely stunning
Pioneer's first Blu-ray standalone player for Europe is ready for primetime by Q3 2007. ![]() 1080p/24fps support, Dolby TRUEHD compatible, PAL/NTSC compatibility (25-30hz/fps and 50-60hz/fps) HDMI-CEC feature, DLNA compatibility and wonderful piano black design built with a high-quality double-layer chassis. It really packs a punch. ![]() More pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Goes best with the Pioneer 8th gen 1080p plasma TV (launching H2-2007) ![]() Visit here for more info: http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/campaign/p...s/bdplx70.html Source: Pioneer Europe |

Very nice indeed! Let's hope it performs as good as it looks. It might just appear on my 'to purchase' list too, assuming that Sony doesn't introduce 1080/24 for the PS3.

That doesn't have the same ring as, "Yet another Toshiba player." Really.

SATA more expensive to implement, and since the end user isn't going to be mucking around in there, it didn't really matter, since PATA has plenty of bandwidth to do the job.
A lot of that extra space is likely for cooling purposes, it's all right next to the power supply Last edited by WickyWoo; 05-31-2007 at 01:18 AM. |

this bd player hs been out for about 4 months in australia i bought it 2 months back for 1000aud it is absolutly stunning. picture has been rated teh best of all stand alone players in reviews over here. load times are still a little slow as all the stand alone players (not up to ps3 load times by any means) it can also be hooked up to the home network via ethernet to stream all media such as music and jpeg.
i am very impressed with it and because i am not a gamer at all it has fitted my needs perfectly |
