Default What movie am I thinking of - similar to The Condemned

Hi,

Im not sure if this is the right place for this thread but, I just watched The Condemned, that movie with Steve Austin where a bunch of convicts are on an island and the last one wins freedom.

This movie is alot like another movie I watched back in the early 90's but can't remember it. A group of mercenaries were hunting this one guy who was alone I think on an island.

The Blu-ray community has a wealth of knowledge so hopefully someone knows what Im talking about

Thanks

It may have been Surviving the Game, which was an update of The Most Dangerous Game.

I had the same questions but not on an island, but in a jail... The handlers gave all the prisoners weapons and whoever lived got to go free and got some cash or something...

I believe that was Mean Guns with Christopher Lambert.

Check out Battle Royale, probably the best "human hunt" movie.

Yeah, it was a fun little brainless B-movie. I gave it a shot because I'm a big Highlander fan, and was certainly entertained.

Definitely worth checking out. Just a great and disturbing movie. I'm not sure if it's the best manhunt movie ever, but it's certainly a standout. And I honestly can't think of any better on the spot. The sequel was ok too, though no where near as good as the first.

Don't forget the Ray Liotta movie "No Escape" from 1994. It had a very similar plot, and took place on an island as well.

Very cool movie. Another one that was the same style was The Nest. Three groups all in a warehouse trying to take each other out. It had a very high bullet count.
