I never got stuck at my high school. The only thing that could possibly keep us locked in there was if there was a tsunami or something...or a hippie revolt due to increasing prices of Birkenstocks and 100% natural recycled do-rags.

Is this a public school? Where is it located? I just can't imagine a snow storm that bad popping up over the course of a school day. That would suck! I'd be mad at the weatherman/and or the school official that ignored the weather forecast. I'd bundle up and head home in showshoes if I had to, or be begging my folks to pick me up with a snowcat!

Of course the last time I saw snow was in 1993
