Site suggestion: Let members set default sort orders in preferences

While I appreciate having the ability to specify the sort order when browsing movies, reviews, et al, I rarely want to use the default sort order. For example, when I browse movie titles I always want to sort by title, but have to change it every time from the default (popularity). Similarly, when I look at the top deals I nearly always want to sort by % savings, but the default is once again popularity.

It would be very helpful, to me at least, if members had the ability to specify default sort orders in each member's Site preferences. I think others would appreciate being given this option as well.
