Just noticed on the members online section the record for most users online at any one time was 15,901, 11-13-2007 at 06:01 PM so what happened on that day did hd-dvd die?

i saw he posted a not-so-kind response to a mod and that may or may not have been the reason. either way we probably shouldn't be discussing bannings on here so that's the last i'll say of it.

I'll admit that I wasn't here for the big Paramount betrayal, but HD DVD Death Night™ was quite fun.

The Warner announcement was awesome too, although I almost got banned from HiDefDigest for laughing at people.

HD DVD died in March 2008 I believe, I could be wrong though, happens all the time.

This topic comes up alot. I wish they'd just sticky the original thread or something....

Anyway, it was either the black Friday deal, or a "digg" about some duct tape thing....

I do remember there was a HUGE list of people on the boards, it was crazy. Probably also because of the $99 dollar HD-DVD players and everyone was wondering if HD DVD was finally going to have something go for it, but it didn't. Good times back then, I could come here everyday and something awesome would be talked about or great news posted. Now all that gets posted are movie release dates. Not as fun lol.
