Default Paris Je T'aime

Perfection!

Just saw this movie on DVD and now I can't wait for an HD release. Being such an alternative film (well, at least when compared to mainstream movie making), wonder if it will have a blu-ray release with proper stats?

This from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris,_je_t'aime

"This is the first feature film fully scanned in 6K and mastered in 4K in Europe (as opposed to the normal 2K). Encoding the image took about 24 hours per reel (at Laboratoires Éclair)"

Anyone have any info on this? I know the movie was just released in America (go see it!) but its been out for ages (2006) here in Europe.

Anyway... don't miss out on an excelent movie.

My favorites chapters are "Faubourg Saint-Denis" written and directed by Tom Tykwer, starring Melchior Beslon and Natalie Portman (the best), "Tour Eiffel", written and directed by Sylvain Chomet, "Quartier de la Madeleine", written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, starring Elijah Wood and Olga Kurylenko, "Quais de Seine", written by Paul Mayeda Berges and Gurinder Chadha, directed by Gurinder Chadha and "14e arrondissement", written and directed by Alexander Payne, starring Margo Martindale.

Cheers!
J.
