Why doesn't the forum stretch? - Blu-ray Forum

why doesn't it stretch width wise, to the size of my browser window? i've always wondered

You would actually want that? full screen like? Man, whenever I go out of town for work and some of those monitors/resolutions broadcast that I cant stand it.

You could perhaps change your resolution, if you dont mind too that is.

there's at least 3 inches of wasted space on each side of the forum on my current monitor. of course i don't notice it with smaller monitors, but that'd never be an issue as the forum would only be as big as your window.

i dunno..just a thought

Its not the standard, cause its only vbull standard when using the default ... since this one is custom, its been fixed. However, if you really want it like that xtop you could use that ... bottom left hand corner of your screen there is a drop down box that has the 3 available forum styles. Ofcourse then you lose the blu-goodness of there custom default.

well how bout that, the default skin works just like it should

but then you lose links. hmm

Fits a lot better when I switch the view option at the bottom left to classic view, maybe you should do the same.

tried that for a week, harder to read than the blu-ray theme

Cuz then it would develop these nasty marks on the sides - I don't know about you, but I don't want to see those on the forum until it's at least 30 years old.

i'll throw this in with this thread instead of starting a new one, as i'd love for this to be fixed as well

but this forum doesn't work very well with google chrome. now i don't know if its blu-ray.com's fault, or chrome's. but i don't seem to have a problem anywhere else.

when i hit "new posts", i get new posts. but if i hit it again, it doesn't update the new posts. just gives me the same page and says results are x min old. so i have to manually go to different forums to see what threads have been updated.

any thoughts?

Chrome is not a very good browser. Still underdeveloped...

yeah pretty much, firefox is what i usually use. but chrome is faster for some other sites. so i switch back and forth for power usage

Just set your resolution to 800x600....then you'll have no wasted space and no need to stretch!
