I just read the casting news of who is playing Jacob! After how many years of wondering who the **** he was, we can now finally get some information on him. Although I could have sworn he was voiced by Clancy Brown (The Kurgen from Highlander) anyways this is who is playing him in a 70's flashback, so check it out! I have a feeling it has to do with Christian Shepard.........

Fact: Dexter alum Mark Pellegrino (he played Rita's abusive ex) has been cast on Lost in a pivotal role, multiple sources confirm to me exclusively.

Unconfirmed scuttlebutt: He's playing Jacob in an off-island, circa-'70s flashback involving some very familiar faces!

Fact: He turns up in the season finale.

Unconfirmed scuttlebutt: One of those familiar faces is *a****!

I know!!! He is the perfect nutjob, so this is great casting IMO. I will be very happy to FINALLY learn more about Jacob and like i said earlier, it has got to have something to do with Christian........there is a reason he is still alive on that island, just like Locke came back, Christian Shepard is not dead, but what is he doing with Claire and Jacob?????

Yeah I know I said Clancy Brown in my first post, but like I also said this is Jacob in the 70s

This guy looks a lot like the ShamWow guy that was arrested for assaulting a prostitute!

Good job spoiling the season finale for everyone. Why don't you go ahead and tell them that he shows up at Sawyers dad's funeral and it there when Locke falls out of the building while you're at it?

You could also talk about how Ben will have to summon the smoke monster and be judged for his sins.

BTW, Rose, Bernard, and Vincent are also in the finale.

Thats good that they'll be including him in the series more. I was thinking that the writers forgot about him, lol.

He looks a lot like a young Locke to me. Could this mean Jacob is Locke? I've always wanted Locke to turn out to be Jack, but o well. As long as it's a main character.
