Arrow Nudity in films

Yes?
No?
Maybe?
I think as long as it's not nudity just for the sake of nudity it's fine. Looks like the rest of the world agrees too since kids 5 and over in Europe and Asia see stuff you can't see in PG-13 movies over here.

See I would consider porn on blu but 2 things -
My nieces go through everything in my room
Porn costs a lot on DVD, on blu-ray it's gotta be like $49.99+ for quality porn, pass.

said it before: nudity is natural, clothes are artificial. Don't know why society lost its touch over time with nature to the point of pointing out nudity as some sort of sick perversion, but nudity is normal, natural and if it's slowly coming back to acceptance then fine.

Yes, if it makes sense to be nude. A courtroom drama where suddenly there's a streaker doesn't make sense. Make sense would be a nudist who's having an argument over the phone at home, ancient Olympics, or indigenous people.

Plain nudity in films should be no higher than PG-13. Nudity leading towards simulated sex and simulated sex are an R. Real sex is R or NC17.

Porn on BD has been available since year 1. The variety increased last year. If you want more info, look up "porn" in the forum.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've been saying this for over a decade. People should not be ashamed of their bodies. Every body on this planet is a work of art. Some are not very pleasant for me to look at personally, but that doesn't mean that they aren't beautiful to others. And most people think that I'm crazy for thinking such a thing. Females in particular think that I'm full of sh!t. If I had it my way, I would walk around nude all of the time... and for those that make presumptions based on usernames, I'm not a female!

Although some in this thread are defending the religious aspect of this discussion, the bottom line is that religion IN GENERAL (not just Christian) is responsible. Over many years they drilled it into their congregations minds that nudity and sexual pleasure were tools devised by the devil to keep you from following the path of righteousness. And then, those adults would then drill the same mentality into their children until it became widespread. I remember hearing about how some religions will actually cause so much physical pain to their childrens hands when caught masturbating that their hands are actually rendered useless for days! That kind of trauma sticks and lasts a lifetime... hell, it could even last generations!

So, ultimately, my opinion is that nudity for the sake of nudity or nudity with a purpose... it doesn't matter to me. Although, I will admit that I don't like to be surprised with an unexpected penis filling most of the screen without any warning (are you reading this Judd Apatow?!?!?!). I prefer my male nudity to be treated as respectfully as my female nudity. It is all beautiful... treat it all with a respectful eye.

HD porn online is easier to find and cheaper than porn on Blu-Ray discs.

Not that I would know or anything...

If the purpose is to show the beauty of the human body (ala Titanic) - YES
If the purpose is to entice lust (ala most nudity in films) - NO

If there is a purpose to it, I don't truly mind.

Most of the time however it's more for the sake of just being naked for no reason. Actors are in their nature exhibitionist and will take any chance to show themselves in every possible way. I feel that nudity is often use more as a selling point then having a purpose to the story being told.

I say only if it serves a legitimate purpose.

Personally I think 98% of nudity in films is uneccessary.

If breasts and full frontal nudity are covered than it's fine, as long as the women/men aren't being sexually assaulted or over dominated than it's OK in my books.

Sure everyone is comfortable with nudity, that's fine but when your eyes light up at the site of a woman or man in the nude and you think sexual thoughts than you truly aren't comfortable with it are you?

Don't try to justify nudity as OK, nudity is fine, sexual nudity is PORN and PORN is filth that will wreck your life.

Not all nudity is porn and research is starting to show that porn is as addictive as drugs.

Some bodies may look better than others but the debate here is not the aesthetics of nudity but whether or not nudity is this big evil thing which is criminalized in some societies ...

As for clothes they are totally artificial, meaning "man-made" and not natural. an invention of humans.

As far as nudity, I have zero problems with it.. I don't think young children should be exposed to sex in movies however.
