Default Are you allowed to sell digital copies?

I never have any use for mine. There's nothing illegal about selling them is there? Would anyone even buy them?

Some members sell or trade them here. That is an interesting question about the legality of it and one I am not prepared to fully answer. Some people just give them away as they have no use for them.

Default Would Code Work?

You might be able to sell them, but I thought the code that comes with each one is unique and can be used one time only.

So you could only sell ones that have never been digitally copied.

I know the code is unique. I never use it. I guess people might not want to buy it if they didn't know it wasn't used.......

I think it says the code can't be transfered to anyone in the fine print ... so technically they are telling you to not even give them away which makes no sense ... you can give the movie away with the code but not the code separately.

I was going to sell them on ebay ... except it's too late for now (I threw them all out) and I don't want any trouble from the ebay folks.

From a legal point of view, I don't think there's any problem, as long as you sell the disc with the (unused) code together.

Look at it this way: you buy a box-set with 3 movies and only keep 2, reselling the one movie you don't like. It's the same principle.

Dang. I wonder how much I lost by throwing away like 40 digital copies.

I have no need for mine, so I might eventually sell them.
