Possible The Dark Knight 2 first draft leaked

I found this written thread in the imdb dark knight boards and decided to post it here.

Apparently, www.latinoreview.com received two PDF files from someone by the moniker of “WBMovieLeaker.” He basically told them that he has a hold of the first draft of the proposed “The Dark Knight” sequel screenplay and it is called “Savior.” But “WBMovieLeaker” told www.latinoreview.com that the title is just a ruse, just like how “Rory’s First Kiss” was used for “The Dark Knight.”

“WBMovieLeaker” also said that he read the entire script and said that it’s a wonderful first draft and it tops “The Dark Knight.” You might want to take this with a grain of salt, but so far, “WBMovieLeaker” is said to be a legitimate source and is the one that leaked the “Batman Begins,” “Constantine,” and “Speed Racer” screenplay which turned out to be almost verbatim with the movie.

Now, this is a supposed first draft, and “WBMovieLeaker” says he has the entire first draft in PDF format, but will leak about one to two pages a day so that he can avoid getting the entire script deleted if he posts it all now. It’s a ballsy move by him, but I just hope that his praises for the screenplay are true.

Oh, and I’m sure you guys are wondering about this, he said that Joker makes it into the screenplay, albeit as a minor “cameo” type role from Arkham, but the main villains of the film are Penguin -- who is the new head of the Gotham Underworld and is involved with illegal arms shipments; Riddler -- who is a mad bomber who sends riddles to the GCP, and if they solve his riddles in time, he will spare his supposed bombing target; Waylon Jones aka Killer Croc, who turns out to be nothing more than muscle for Penguin; and, you guessed it, Two-Face -- who had a skull fractures after his fall at the end of “The Dark Knight” and is recuperating in a hospital. Conveniently enough, he has a case of short term memory loss and can‘t remember what happened (an obvious recycling of Nolan‘s “Memento”).

Nice to see Penguin and Riddler in the mix. And I’m glad to see Two-Face back as well as Joker, be it minimal. That being said, I just hope this script is legit. I look forward to the next two months in which “WBMovieLeaker” will leak the screenplay one to two pages at a time over the internet.

And if things go according to plan, I’m sure Nolan will start production on this film right after he completes his next film “Inception.” He did the same back-to-back thing with “The Prestige” and “The Dark Knight,” so I’m sure anything is possible. Props to Nolan. And to Goyer and Nolan’s bro, Jonah, as well.

i GUARANTEE nolan, etc are keeping the script under extremely tight security. you can bet there are going to be dozens of faked "leaks" between now and when the movie actually comes out, and i'm just going to assume this is only one of them. it's cool nonetheless, but i still bet it's fake.

Well not sure if this is true or not, but I still think Two-Face is alive. I wonder if they have a clip that was supposed to be in the dark knight of Heath playing the joker but they took it out and it fits with this. that would be sweet.

I Agree! They did an amazing job when keeping TDK under wraps up until it was released.

Very true that all the rumored villains are in this but this does seem legit. Penguin and Riddler as the main villains and croc as a side villain and they have two face to wrap his story. I hope all these villains are in it. It makes sense.

If this is true, I am worried about too many villains, ala Spider-Man 3. It would be cool to see a cameo of the Joker, though. I also think that the Penguin and Riddler are a good fit. But Two Face is supposed to be dead. I can't help but think that he is not in this. If he is, there'd better be a good explanation for it.

And I thought Nolan confirmed it multiple times too... I would be very surprised if any of it was real

The beautiful thing about anonymous sources on the internet... there is a 99% that they are just causing a stir for the sake of it. However, there is that 1% chance that this person could be legit! After all, he has been 100% accurate and responsible with 3 other major motion picture script leaks.

As for the concept for the film describe in the OP, I'm skeptical about having all of those villains. I like Penguin and Riddler, but adding Two-Face and Killer Croc into the mix (regardless of their positions in the hierarchy structure of the underworld) are going to draw away from what's important unless they are all onscreen at the same time... which would be ridiculous.
