36 New Releases or Academy Award Winning Movies I CANT FIND ON BLU RAY?? Why? - Blu-ray Forum

I was hoping someone could clarify if there is in fact a HD DVD or Blu Ray available for these titles or if anyone knows when a release is planned.

Most of those aren't new releases as far as I'm concerned, so most would be catalog titles and will likely come out at some point. Blu-ray is still early in it's lifespan and there's just too many movies out there that haven't received the blu treatment yet. Just be patient.

An example of a new movie that hasn't been put on Blu-ray is: Flash of Genius. The ones you listed are older, but I think many here understand your frustration. We all have favorite movies we want on Blu-ray.

And Se7en is available in Canada, but is only 1080i.
