I just received an order from DVDPACIFIC for

Donnie Brasco
Underworld
Swordfish

Which got stopped by customs and incurred a charge of £13.50

The order was for a cost of £34 which i thought was a good saving on the uk prices which total £54 but after the charges makes it only £6

What have any of your guys experiences been with importing disk and have you used any sites that dispatch in a shipping way that avoids these charges.

Its so annoying that disks over here are released so long after the us release. I mean we still haven't got a release of POTC

In the UK, you get charged on any dvd coming into the country over £19 pounds. I have been stung a few times importing boxsets.It sucks big time I know.

From experience all i can suggest is ordering them 1 at a time, £19 translates roughly at 38 dollars so you should be able to get movies through that way.
