Help BD Acer sucks!

Help! I have a Acer Aspire 7720-6395 notebook. It uses a Acer Arcade deluxe optiarc bd rom BC-5500A. It plays blue ray movies but lately, new bluray films, like the new bond flick, dont play. It keeps saying " A critical update is required otherwise your bd player will not work, would you like to search the net for the update" and I click on yes and it simply says new update not found. I triude the acer deluxe 1.13 update to no luck. Please tell me where I can go to get this fixed? Where can I get the pacth or update to allow me to see newly released blueray films?

best and fastest solution would be to either buy the cyberpower or windvd software solution, or you can buy slysoft anydvd hd

they as well have patches or updates that keeps them up to date to playback blu's

What you have to do is go back into play movie, click on home, enter settings and go to the update button in that area. Once you do that it'll work.

Ohh, and acer arcade deluxe (the blu ray software that comes with acer laptops) is developed by cyberlink and usses the same software as cyberlink powerdvd ultra with a new skin.

Use Arcsoft's TMT - I have no problem with it. It's been my main way of watching BD for a while now

I went to settings and looked for the update button but no luck. I'm sorry that I sound like a child, but I still dont know how to fix this.

I agree, get ArcSoft TMT.
Eliminate the OEM software.
