Default Screw up samsung BD-P1200 while upgrading

Hi everyone,

May I ask some opinion/or advise on how can this player run again? I was upgrading the firmware using an ISO Image on disc and my son accidentally unplugged the cord while it is updating. When I plug it again it is just showing the samsung logo is just showing load. All the bottons from remote and the unit were no longer function except the power. I was thinking the previous firmware are now corrupted. Can someone guide me on how to fix it?

You can't fix it. Best bet is to call Samsung and send it in for them to repair it. But from what I've heard about what they charge, it might be better to buy a new one.

could be a blessing in disguise, now you can convince the wife that your player is broken, blame the kid (but take him out for ice cream for taking the fall), and get a new generation player that wont give you any problems. Also new players have ethernet for firmware upgrades which make it really simple.

Shame on the mother for leaving an unsupervised child to be able to unplug the unit.
