Why can't I Find Wedding Singer???

Any one have any idea why Wedding Singer is not listed as being carried in any store?

I went online to see who was going to have it to cheapest tomorrow and NO ONE has it listed as being available in store. I tried Wal-Mart, Target & Best Buy.

What gives?

I dont think anyone is gonna have it cheaper then the 14.99 that amazon has it for.

It will be $16.99 @ Best Buy, so I imagine everyone will be the same or cheaper

I don't know, but I had the same problem with The Pink Panther Collectors Edition (1964) and I finally decided to order from Amazon because no B&M stores, at least in my area, where carrying it.

my best buys have had a sign in the place where its gonna be shelved at for 3 weeks now with the 16.99 price so it will be there 2morrow i gotta wait for mine pre-order it from amazon

I know it's not out til tomorrow. But what I've done over and over again is order stuff for store pick up the day before release then I go get it in the morning. Target, Best Buy & Wal-Mart all show that they aren't even going to carry it in store.

I saw it at Best buy yesterday when I went to pick up my wife's DSi . Too bad I had already ordered threw Amazon.

I guess that's what I'll end up doing. If it shows up on their site for in store purchase tomorrow, I'll get it that way. If not, I'll just have Amazon ship it tomorrow.

Even though the release date isn't until tomorrow, Best Buy's store inventory search should work. For instance, I can search for the Sin City Blu-ray, which doesn't come out for another full week, and the store availability app tells me that all 5 stores in my area have it. That doesn't mean I can go buy it tomorrow, as the April 21st release date will be upheld, but I do know they have it in stock and will therefore have some on the shelves when the release date roles around.

The Wedding Singer Blu-ray at least lets me search stores by zip code, which means SOME Best Buy stores somewhere will have it - but no stores in my area show stock, meaning there won't be any on the shelves tomorrow at any of those stores. Compare that to Point of No Return, also coming out on BD tomorrow, which simply says "Store Pickup: Not Available" on the product page - since I can't even search by zip code, that means no Best Buy stores anywhere will have it. I don't quite understand Best Buy's reasoning sometimes, as The Wedding Singer is a fairly popular title (I do fully understand why Point of No Return won't be on any Best Buy store shelves), but those are the facts of the matter.

This morning it finally showed up BUT I had to go through THREE stores to get one that actually had it in stock. I placed the order and got the "This item is not in stock email". Called the 800 number, they looked at store inventory and found one that showed 2 so I switched to that store. Then I got another "not in stock" email and had to call Best Buy a 2nd time to switch to a 3rd store. Finally got the "Ready For Pick Up" email and I'll grab it after work.

Looks like Best Buy is carrying Wedding Singer and Tango and Cash but some titles like 2010 they are nto stocking and it is best to order thru amazon.com for the cheaper price.

Lately Best Buy and other stores just aren't carrying most WB releases.
