Reno, NEVADA. "Battle Born"
Default US Navy SEAL's dog killed in Texas

This story is FARKED up, but kind of interesting that the 4 guys are alive.

The SEAL was the lone survivor of a mission in Afghanistan where he was badly wounded etc.

The dog was named DASY after the first initial of the 4 members of the SEAL team he was with. The dog was a therapy device for him.

The turds had been killing dogs all over the county. He heard them shoot the dog, goes outside with his pistol, and asks "you shot my dog! why would you shoot my dog?"

They got away in a car, and after a FOUR COUNTY chase he forced them into a ditch where apparently he held them at gunpoint and they threatened to kill him(the SEAL) next. The guy told the cops to explain how lucky these idiots were that they were not killed on sight.

Interesting thing to me is that the SEAL did not kill them. If I had a clear shot in that situation, inside 30 yards, they would be done. MAYBE I would shoot out their kneecaps and waterboard them in my basement until they cried for death.

He should have beat them unconscious. I know I would have. Especially with his training. He couldve taken them all. I hope I get into SOCOM so I can work with SEAL's

People who harm or kill animals are the lowest life form to me, and I wouldn't hesitate to empty my .45's into them. The fact that he let them get away and than chased in his car is a bit ridiculous to me, you may run fast, but nothing runs faster than a bullet. If someone killed my dog, no question they would be put down HARD. The really ****ed up thing about this is, the penalty for animal cruelty is almost never more than a slap on the wrist. I say a life for a life, and some of you may disagree with that and think people are above animals, well I've met hundreds of great animals in my life, and maybe 3 great people. I would not hesitate to put the lowest life form down in the most painful way possible. Because nothing says STOP like .45 ACP to the dick.

he should have beat them unconscious
waited for them to wake up
broke their legs
beat them again
then shoot them

you dont shoot a guys dog, that is like the worst thing you can do

you shoot someones dog, you deserve to be put down

The group of people that went joyrideing & killing pet(s) were confronted by the dog's owner. One or more of them said they would kill the owner who had a gun with him.

If I was that dog owner, I would have executed the entire group right on the spot. They threatened the dog owner + they know where he lives. People should not make empty threats in a joking manner.

All I can say is with those ears/handles he'll be a very popular guy in prison.

I agree though, I may have "interrogated" them for a while first.

So, what would happen to the guy if he actually shot four people, because they shot his dog?

Good question, but if I was the prosecutor, I would work hard to find a way to let this guy off. He is a war hero, and they were simply trash.

The way I look at it, he would have done the county a favor by eliminating them there, now they get to go to jail on the taxpayers dime. If they were dead, just that much less garbage on the streets. My 2 cents.

If he did it in his yard he'd probably be fine, they were armed. But after chasing them down and driving them into a ditch, it would depend on the prosecutor. They did threaten his life after all. Although I can't imagine they would be able to find a jury to convict him, I wouldn't.

i probably would. as awful as killing a dog is that doesn't justify killing another human being. thankfully the navy seal knew better. an eye for eye usually never works.

You would convict someone for defending their property from an armed criminal who already killed their dog and threatened to kill them? I hold human life above animal life also, but those SOB don't rate being called human.

Lower than child molestors? I think Hell's deepest and nastiest spots are reserved for them.

sure he could have...... but he'd be in jail right now and they'd be dead. he took the SMART way out and they got arrested. no matter how pissed you are, you have to have some self control. they'll get what's coming to them in the end.

As Rob71 said: If he did it on his yard on his own property in a life threatening situation, i think he would be justified even before the law.

I'm quite sure he has the skills to do it, and he probably even evaluated the situation in the few moments he had to think about it. I have the highest respect for the guy for showing so much restraint in this ugly situation.

military members aren't held by the same "Law" as civilians. we're held back by the UCMJ. i'm sure there's something in there that says we can't kill people.

either way, it's best to not chase down a car full of guys and shoot them because they shot your dog. they'll get more pain living through the prison life if you know what i mean than they would from a quick death by a bullett.

The four losers should have been shot. In Texas, you are allowed to shoot and kill someone on your property if your life is threatened. They shot his dog, and they threatened him; he is fully covered under the law to smoke their asses.

Dogs hold a special place amongst humans. They are completely innocent, love unconditionally, are fiercely loyal, and only ask for a little of your attention in return. I pity the fool that comes to my house looking to do harm to my dogs.
