DVD but no Blu-ray dates? - Blu-ray Forum

According to videoeta.com the movies Outlander and Fanboys will be released on DVD the 19th of May. Why no blu-ray dates?

After posting, I looke on bluray.com and Fanboys comes out on the 19th, but not Outlander.

BECAUSE thats a DVD release schedule and not a blu-ray schedule

Dvds and blu-rays dont always follow the same release schedule as new releases get priority over catalog titles. Its a new format, it took DVD almost 10 years to mature and a good 8 years to re-release VHS onto DVD
