What time of day do the Goldbox Quick Picks change?

I know they change once a day. Anyone have an idea when they change or is it random? Is it an absolute time or relative to the customer's time zone?

Ditto. Also, I'd be curious to know generally more about the Goldbox. I suspect there are folks out there who know about upcoming Goldbox and Lightning deals. I recall one poster who tipped us off a while back about Amazon.ca having an upcoming deal on the Ultimate Matrix.

lightningdeals.com use to have the lightning deals in advance -- like the specific item. Now they just show the same thing as amazon does (though it's still useful to go there to see a compilation of various deals). I always wondered how they got the preview and why they don't display it anymore and if amazon requested they not reveal it in advance.

I wish amazon would more clearly state what kind of product is in their preview (like if it's a book, etc.) and also mention if it is going to be blu-ray or dvd.

Someone had said here that every Tuesday there would be an amazon blu-ray deal of the day. I guess they were mistaken or amazon changed its mind.

I think it varies from account to account. I know about six months ago my changeover time switched up from early in the morning to later at night.
