Default BDP-S300 firmware update
Is anyone getting weird vertical gray bars [on both sides as if its a SD signal] right after the BD disc goes into the player. I just updated to 4.5 even though the last one [4.4] gave me no issues and now I'm a tad bit peeved.

Didn't happen to me - is it on every disc?

Maybe your settings got reset to the factory defaults with the firmware update.
