JJ, here's the sitch... There was a MAJOR vandalism in the area of a main AT&T fiber-optic line (or possibly several lines) that wiped out telephone-based internet for virtually all of the entire Bay Area of California.

Here's the story: linky. I'm surprised there isn't anything in this off-topic forum about it, in fact, as I figured it'd be pretty big news. I'm sure the story will pick up steam later in the evening or tomorrow.

Here's the default lead-in to e-mails I'm sending right now to anyone who e-mailed me today (I'm catching up on business e-mails now, since we had no internet all day):

The downtime of telephony and internet services was at a historic level. The areas affected reached as far north as San Francisco and as far south as Monterey. The telephones in all of our area could not receive incoming calls from outside the area code, nor could we create outgoing calls to numbers outside our area code. Further, we had no internet all business day. We actually just got phones and internet back within the past two hours.

Thats another 3rd Party controller though and based on reviews of that particular kind, its not easy on the hands compared to the original.

I'd be a little nervous about that one, because they advertise a third-party box in their stock photo, yet show an authentic in their actual item photo. I believe they are actually third-party controllers and the seller doesn't really know what they're selling; or worse: they do but are acting like they don't.

I would read Jeris Middletown's review. That's basically the deal with third-party SNES controllers.

those reviews are for the product in general, That seller is stating he has an original based on his own seller comments. I dont read the reviews, they are usually assinine and unrelated as they reflect peoples personal shopping experiences and not the actual product being sold

That can be quite true. That's why Amazon can be tricky sometimes. I would just be careful, that's all.

whats so tricky? They have a 30 day return policy and that applies to third party sellers as well. Plus they have the A-Z buyer guarantee if you dont wanna go that avenue. I have only been scammed once on there but was fully refunded my 7.50

I bought a Shrek 3 dvd back when it was released for 5.00, I knew better as it was to good to be true but i figured it was only 5.00. That was years ago though
