Default Dolby Digital+ and DTS+ lossy (lossless) HD-Audio format

Will I have to buy a new A/V receiver (or preamp/processor) to support any of these new audio formats? Is there any current A/V receiver that is capable of supporting any of these new audio formats? What spec(s) do I need to look for in order to enjoy the content to its full potential?

Example: If I own a Sherwood R-865 A/V receiver that has 192 kHz 24-bit DAC's for all channels will this be able to support DD/DTS+?
