Default SimHD plug-in for TMT2 & 3

I only buy BD's now, but I still have quite a few DVD's that are not available on BD yet (10 Commandments Charleston Heston/Yul Brynner version, Jesus of Nazareth, Star Wars, Incredibles ect.) So I would usually upconvert using WinDVD 9 All2hd, well now TMT has put out SimHD (without the funny trimension effect). Does it make DVD's look like BD - no way at all. Does it look a whole lot better than 480p DVD....OH YES!!!! !!! It's doing "1080p" upconversion and outputing at 24fps. It does a very good job at upconverting (better than most standalones that I've seen) - this will allow me to watch my must have movies that are not out on BD yet. Have any of you tried it out yet? Dadkins?

P.S. (I havent seen it yet but 10 Commandments and JoN are must haves for me - as well as the rest of the Pixar stuff and of course Star Wars stuff). Some of my DVD's will not be replaced with BD (because they are not worthy of BD )

No, but PowerDVD 9 does a pretty good job of upconverting.

I'll see about getting it for TMT 2. No Dolby is annoying on TMT3.
Trial is almost iup anyways.

From what i understand is that you need an Nvidia card to see the benefits of SimHD since it uses CUDA technology which is only available on Nvidia GFX cards. I also understand that it will support ATI Stream technology in future, eitherway, i am not sure if SimHD is exclusive for Nvidia ATM.

To add, TMT3 does support Dolby technology in the full retail version of the application. Due to license restrictions arcsoft had to ommit Dolby support in the trial version of the apps.

Looks alot like 120hz "coming out at you" effect. Sometimes it looks good - sometimes it makes you dizzy
