With the exchange rates at like 1.25 CAD for 1.00 USD it's almost pointless to order anything from the US at the moment. Tack on shipping, taxes, duties, forget it.

Yeah, I would totally believe that, PLUS can't you find Energy in Canada like finding Klipsch & Polk in the US? And if anyone has the "C" series like I have in Canada, they should be available for cheap since they are being discontinued.

That is unfortunate. I hope you find some decent prices in Canada. Energy makes some fine speakers. I simply love mine.

thanx for all the replys i checked kijiji and found some energys at a pretty good price, even found a whole c series 5.1 set, says they are new too, gona go check them out,i really need to upgrade from my sony htib speakers gota a new receiver and these r just not cutting it lol, saw some nice ones on futureshop but if i can get them for cheaper then why nott

Better deal can be found at www.wwstereo.com click on speakers and look at the $399 deal for the towers, bookshelves and center, these are a step up from the Take series, which are really nice for a HTiB type set, but save a little for a sub and get better speakers. Their customer services is excellent with that company... replaced one of my speakers with no issues....
