Original NES
Wii
2 DS Lites

Those are all for the kids. I do enjoy the original NES and The New Super Mario Bros. game for the DS. I would like to eventually get a PS3 for myself though.

I own a:
*PS3 60GB EU
*PSP 1000 that the dog chewed up
*Game Boy Color
*Atari 2600 (never got to play it though)
*GBA SP
*Nintendo Wii
*Broken down Sega Mega Drive

Hoping to invest in:
*OnLive Microconsole for games like racers and the computer browser plug in for FPS's and any other game thats better with a mouse.
*Possible PC rig, but I might need the help of a nerd if I want it set up and other complicated stuff for it.
*Faster broadband connection, anything in the 24Mb range, if thats available in this area yet.

I was hoping on getting a 360, but I think its a bit late in this generation, seeing that the 720 could be announced within the next 2 years or so.

Sweet thread.

NES original
NES top-loader (x3: one modified for A/V outs and two "original")
SNES
SNES mini
N64 (x2: one standard black and one trasluscent red)
Wii (with some Virtual Console games)
DS (x2)
DS Lite

For emulators, I've got all the old-school consoles listed above, plus:

Atari 2600
Atari 5200
Sega
Sega Genesis/Master System
MAME

I think that's it...

That's awesome! I have a top loader, but only has the RF switch. My consoles consist of an 80GB PS3, an Elite XBOX360, a Wii, and the aforementioned NES.

I have a 2600 I bought off E-Bay(The "Vader" model not the original woodgrain one) I am sending it off to get modified with A/V outs so that I can play Demon Attack in HD glory. I even bought wireless controllers waiting for it.Smiley.gif

Sending off?! Tsk tsk, Rob71! Mod that yourself! jk. Actually modding those things takes some pretty serious expertise. That should be awesome. The 2600 emulator I have doesn't exactly render it in "HD" per se, but it still looks cool to see giant pixely blocks. Pitfall is still a blast.

Wireless 2600 controller is going to be awesome, though.

I love the A/V mod. There's a guy on eBay who does them for a pretty reasonable price. I can hook you up if you need it.

Not meaning to hack on you or anything, but why do you still own your gamecube since the Wii is backwards compatible for that system?
