Just seen a trailer to this. I hadn't even realised that they were making a live action of one of my favourite anime. Anyone else excited by this?

Bleh the movie itelf sucked(animated), the show was pretty good though. Will wait for a trailer before I decide.

It looks ok. Not dying to see it but will watch it when released on dvd or blu-ray.

Looks very interesting. I'm not familiar with the animated version, but this looks promising. It has the same producer from Hero and Crouching Tiger. I'm not that crazy about Crouching Tiger, but Hero was awesome! If the writing is good then I think it will be a winner.

Yes, it did.. I was a pretty big fan of Japanese animation when I saw it and I felt it the story was really weak though the animation itself was awesome and done very well.

I agree, the animation was quite well done but the story was rather fragmented. I like Blood+ much better.

This looks pretty entertaining. It also has the lovely Allison Miller in it, so I'm gonna have to see it.

LOL no, Blood the last vampire is a young girl vampire who fights other vampires and demons. It's based on an anime, has nothing to do with Blade.

Loved the anime. A little too short though. Not particularly impressed by what I've seen from the trailers for the live action movie.
