sin city UK recut? - Blu-ray Forum

i know all about the Canadian release and how it was short on extras etc. Is the UK release going to be the same as the US release because if it isnt i might have to import it, which i dont really like doing.

can someone please she some light on this, ive seen it on hmv for 13,99

There is a 2 disc edition coming in the US and Europe. I believe there is a thread about this already in this section.

Buena vista UK releases slightly differ from the US releases. Best to check any reviews to compair them.

I expect it to mirror the US release, save for additional language options. And yes, £13.99 at HMV is a steal, but £12.99,(£1.00 McDonald's voucher), is even better...

if i recall the "extended" version isn't really extended alot, most of the extra time you get on the disc is the end credits for each segment.

That is if it is the same as the extended one that was released on DVD.

I am looking for the Sin City 2 disc special edition Blu-Ray with Dutch subtitles, but can't find it anywhere, so I'm guessing it just doesn't exist.

Anyone any idea when/if it gets released?

No Dutch 2-Disc SE exists and I think it will take a long time before there will be a release. The rights for this title lies with one of the worst distributors we have in The Netherlands: E1 Entertainment (formerly known as RCV). Yes, several of their releases have good audio en picture quality, but none of them have special features and their newest releases don't even have (pop-up) menus anymore.

Do you think the extras outweigh the lack of Dutch subtitles on this release?

Do you recommend buying the NL or the UK version then?
