Talking Chris Evans is a "Loser"

I am a big fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan ever seen his days of Supernatural and he was awesome in Watchmen, so to hear he's got something new coming out that also sounds somewhat interesting is good news to me!

He may have lost the role of Johnny Storm (As we reported a few weeks back, The Fantastic Four is about to undergo the remake treatment and thus, there’ll be an all-new cast) but Chris Evans may have snagged himself another superhero engagement – and one that might actually be worth checking out (yes, that was a dig at Fox’s lame Fantastic Four film series).

According to Comics2film, Evans is in negotiations to join Jeffrey Dean Morgan in “The Losers”, which follows a special forces team betrayed by their handler and left for dead. The Losers regroup in the interest of revenge and the opportunity to remove their names from a secret CIA death list and to conduct covert operations against the CIA. Evans would play Jensen, the fast-talking tech whiz of the team. Sylvain White is directing the adaptation of the Vertigo book.

I believe Evans was attached to the project before a while back. Tim Story, director of both Fantastic Four films, was going to direct it but dropped out since it was taking forever. I believe Evans was attached to it back then.

Oh, I never even heard about this project till I read that article. I am a JDM fan and never been impressed by Evans. It's not that I don't like him, just haven't really seen him prove himself yet.

He was always great on Supernatural and the fact that he left that show to do Grey's Anatomy, has never sat right with me.......

I thought Sunshine was worth checking out

Who did Jeffrey Dean Morgan play in Watchmen?

Thumbs up

Evans was perfect as The Human Torch, too bad he won't play that character again. Sunshine was such a spectacular film. Push was awful, even though I liked his performance. Hopefully this new film will be as good as it sounds.

I keep hearing about this movie, but I know nothing of it, wasn't it about space? I might need to check into this, people seem to be raving about it.

It's a suspenseful sci-fi movie (with a dash of horror thrown-in), directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire). It's perfect, up until the ending where something totally random happens & it turns into an Event Horizon-type movie for a short time. However, the twist does not ruin the overall film.

Plot from imdb: "50 years into the future, the Sun begins to die and Earth is dying as a result. A team of astronauts are sent to revive the Sun, but the mission fails. Seven years later, a new team are sent to finish the mission as they are Earth's last hope."

Chris Evens performance was the best thing about the F4 movies and that ain't saying much. It's probably best for "The Losers" movie that Tim Story dropped it. I look at what he did to the F4 and wonder why he is working in Hollywood. Maybe he a Uwe Bole could team up and do a movie.

His second role where he's not a dead guy! Yay!

John Winchester is awesome.

Oh boy........Danny Boyle huh? Yeah I swore after the 28 movies I wouldn't see his work anymore.......so maybe I will have to rethink this, cause that does sound interesting, he's just a bit out there for my tastes. But no I will never see SlimeDog all the hype and constant bombarding at award shows and previews for this burned out any hope they had of me seeing it.

Oh I just pointed that out because I thought 28 weeks later was really lame, but 28 days later blew me away. I thought maybe you were under the impression that he did the second one also.

I also recommend Sunshine, a lot.
