Default LCD under $600???

So my old HD CRT TV decided to die today. Right when i was about to sit down and watch my favorite hockey team in the playoffs in hd. No i am in the market for a new LCD. Unfortunately, my current job situaton means that i need to keep it on the cheap side. So, i am looking in the $600 Range. Preferably i want a 37 or 40 in so that i am not going down in size, however it looks like there are no tvs in my that size in my price range so i am now looking at a 32in size.

I am looking at this Sammsung in particular and was wondering if anyone had any personal opinions about it: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_305LN32...60.html?tp=161

Does anyone have any suggestion on any other models to be looking at? Has anyone recently done a lot of research at this price range.

Thank you,
M3Shark

Well, you're gonna have to bump that budget up some more if you want a quality TV over 32". You can look at THIS LG 37" for $700 shipped, THIS Panasonic for $700 shipped, THIS Samsung 42" plasma for $729 shipped, or THIS Panasonic 42" plasma for $755 shipped. Any high quality sets below this price will be 32" TV's. If you really can't stretch your budget and want a bigger set you can look at THIS 37" Vizio at Walmart for $600 with free ship-to-store.

Check Costco also. I know you can buy a 32" Vizio 720p set there for $450 and the same set in 1080p for $550.

I'm not sure about the prices on the Vizio 37 or 42" there. Check it out.

they also carry other brands at great prices.
