Default Has the "Green", 11mm Scanavo Vixible case been used for a Blu-ray release yet?

Scanavo (www.scanavo.com), better known to the membership for its SteelBook (http://www.steelbook.com) line of Blu-ray Disc packaging, has an 11mm plastic (polypropylene) case, called the Vixible (http://www.scanavo.com/cool_media_vix_11mm.asp), which is the same thickness as the MeadWestvaco Vortex cases (http://www.meadwestvaco.com/Products/MWV005774) that are typically used by Sony and Disney. Out of curiosity, has anyone seen the Vixibles being used yet?

The Vixible cases are considered to be "Green", eco-friendly packaging, because the clear polypropylene allows a double-sided cover insert to be clearly visible, thus eliminating some of the printed material that might normally be included in the case, but ends up getting thrown away. The Vixible case contrasts with the "Green" 12.5mm Viva Eco-Box (http://www.viva-eco-box.com/bluray.html) in that the Vixible is fully plastic (and therefore rigid), whereas, the Eco-Box uses less plastic in the form of various "cut-outs" in the mold for the case (and thus, somewhat flimsy).

By the way, there's also a 14mm Vixible case (http://www.scanavo.com/cool_media_vix_14mm.asp), presumably for the European market, just as there is a 15mm version of the Eco-Box.

Thumbs up

I have not encountered one yet. It's a very good idea.

Sweet, that's what I want. Advertising that can't be thrown away. Although, this does seem like the better of two evils, vs. the hack and slash eco-friendly case that's out there now. Luckily I haven't gotten one of those yet.

Honestly, I'm so tired of hearing about green this, green that . . . I can't wait for this fad to be over.

The photos on the Scanavo site are only of a single-disc case. Do you just have singles, or do you also have some double-disc cases?

my copy of SlumDog Millionaire came in a box similar to that, the space under the disc was all cut out.
