Default netflix and sony blu ray

Why doesn't Sony design the new 560 blue ray player to download netflix videos? Is it because Sony wants to leave it exclusively on the Playstation 3 which is more expensive?
Thoughts?:D

When did the PS3 have Netflix??

Netflix is only on the 360 console right now (as far as game consoles go), and a few other stand alone players. The PS3 has its own video downloading service (although rumor has it they might add Netflix, but that rumor has been going around for almost a year).

If you want Netflix capability look at an LG or Samsung player.
