Default Blu-rays with regular dolby digital 5.1?

on the movies that have the Dolby digital track is it the same track from the DVD release or has it been cleaned up for the bluray release? thanks

the DD tracks on blu-ray are 640kbps up from around 448kbps (i think thats the number) on dvds

so in theory they will sound a little better than dvd tracks

The biggest jump is from DD to TrueHD/DTS HD MA/PCM. DD is there as a backward compatibility thing.
