Where do names come from, real names ? When you have kids and decide to call them John or Stacey it is cause those are names you have heard many times in your life, but what about unusual and original names, where do you pick them from ?

Anyways Here is a short list of unusual and original names of actors, please feel free to add up more if you think of any:

Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko in Deep Space Nine)
Nana Visitor (Major Kira in Deep Space Nine)
Summer Glau (Cameron in Terminator TSCC)
Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster in the same name show)

I've actually heard of a lot of people with the name 'Summer'. Just like having them be named 'Sky' or something. Its more common in the US then other places I suppose.

hmm, I am a hippie, not a dirty one. and my kids names are Cody and Spencer. Pretty normal, I knew someone who named their kid Patches. They weren't a hippie though. They were Appalachian American

Kristen Chenoweth is an pretty odd name,but she's darn cute!!! Same goes for Zooey Deschanel(another odd name),she's not bad looking either!!!
