Default What kind of pets do you have?

Just curious as to what other posters have as pets. Our family loves animals. We have 3 dogs:
14 yr old Golden Retriever named Cinnamon
4 yr old English Springer Spaniel named Ellie
1 yr old Pomeranian named Bella

Any special significance for names? Ellie got her name because I wanted an "elvish" name from LOTR, but I settled on the "el" prefix that is predominant in some "elvish" names.

I have a Pembrooke Welsh Corgi (dog) named Narvi, whose name is from a dwarf in The Similarion. Corgi means dwarf in welsh.

I had fish but they always ate each other and it pissed me off... so I got a parakeet and it kept biting me!

I'm not much of an animal person.

We have twins:

A seven year old Golden Retriever named Jagger.

A two year old long-haired Chihuahua named Trigger.

God help the man that tells either of them that they aren't brothers from the same litter.

Awesome!!! We have a 4 year old Pemmy named Fox. He's often called a Hobbit around here, but I believe he's a little faster when the mood hits him. Our senior dog is a 5 year old Boston named Percy (Robert Plant), and he's definately cool. To me, he's a small bulldog, that jaw grip is amazing! Cool about the Corgi subject, funny canines.

Got a small zoo...

Female Turkish Van (Cat)
Female Gray Cat (Stray my brother found)
Female Grey Chinchilla
Female Ebony Chinchilla
Female Lutino Cockatiel
Male Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
400+ Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches (these were food for a black throated lizard I used to have, can't find anyone to buy them and will not kill them by my hand).
3 Guinea Pigs (2 Male, 1 Female)

We already have planned additions:
4 Hens, 1 Rooster (Mother used to have chickens as a child and would like to do so again. Between the ever growing garden in the back yard and the chickens, I'm feeling like a miini-farmer)...

How hard are the Pygmy goats to take care of????

We had the oppurtunity to get a pair, but our vet (wise man, just not a fan of "livestock") told us the care is extreme... Says that just keeping a check on the hooves and vaccinations can get quite expensive.

I'm guessing there's a lot of dogs in Indiana named Peyton.

I've got a 1 year old Cavachon named Tedy. Will likely get another dog in a couple years once my current dog has mellowed out some and I have a bigger house, because right now there is no way I could handle another dog with how hyper Tedy is.
