I need six more - only six - and I'm trying to see if I can purchase them from any forum member here without having to buy however many others online.

reminds me of that peanut butter commercial, where the kid splits the sandwich in half, and then the other kid gets to choose which slice he gets.

are you and betaman within the same area tho? just to consider shipping cost, and if ever, someone's doubling up shipping afterwards. something to consider thats all.

Not even close. He's in Ohio, and I'm in South Florida. There's no local places that sell cheap foam, it's all the expensive stuff. I'm looking at $15.99 + $12.99 shipping for a pack of 24, of the 2"x12"x12" size. Considering I got mines for free, I'm hesistant. I wouldn't even know where to buy such things locally - the internet seems my only option.

look around for those furniture stores, and for some of em fabric stores too. at least one or two of em would have materials to custom build a sofa or a bed or what not, and normally would have some of that good ol looking foam available. its a matter of hunting for em, but i was lucky at one point to find one here in my area. too bad it wasnt as firm as id like em to be (kinda felt like that memory foam, too dense but not highly dense for me read: soft)

just check em out, and see if they may have some.

Dang, for a second, I saw your name by this thread and I thought you would be interested in splitting a case! Local dealings would be easier. Then again, you have a wife and kids and I'm sure putting panels everywhere just wouldn't fly...

I'm thinking the edges and angles in the acoustic foam is also key, the flat stuff might not have the same effect.
