I don't know if this is where I should post this, it's somehow related to receivers. But anyway, I just bought this Pioneer radio and I can't figure out how to get HD Radio. Can anyone help?

How do you even get HD Radio? Do I need an HD tuner?

Yes, you need a hd-tuner "GEX-P10HD Required"

GEX-P10HD has been discontinued and replaced with the GEX-P20HD.

HD radio tuner for HD Radio Ready head units.
iTunes tagging with the DEH-P7100BT or Premier DEH-P710BT

Thanks! They don't have the GEX-P20HD on Amazon though.

How big is the tuner and how do you connect it? I have no idea lol.

Dimensions - 4 3/4" x 1 1/8" x 3 1/8" (W x H X D)

It connects via Pioneer's IP-Bus connections on the back of the units. (IP-bus cable supplied with GEX-P20HD)

Yes. But I do not have HD-Radio because I don't like commercials

Or depending on what phone and provider you use, I found that i can stream audio from pandora off my Iphone to my stereo and it sounds great, like satellite radio. I have and Alpine IDA-X100. I use the iphone and unlimited data. works very nice. highly recommended.
