Capcom releasing new fighting game on PSP

Looks like Capcom is going to release a fighting game to PSP based off a visual novel and anime called Fate/Stay Night this Summer as a download-only game called Fate/Unlimited Codes for America and Europe.

Well it is a PSP game(port from PS2) and it's downloadable-only kind of like how Patapon 2 is but with no voucher at retail store and just only sold through the PSN store. However if you want a physical copy of the game you would need to import the Japanese version. In a weird sort of way it's almost like Soul Calibur but a little bit different and of course based off a PC visual novel and an anime.

This game is fun and I have been playing since it was released in Japan for PSP. It's kinda sad that from the replies that this thread is getting, not much people seem to care about this game. IMO, it's prehaps one of the best fighters on PSP, hands down. Anyone looking for a good fighter for PSP, I would highly recommend this game. Avaliable now in the US PSN Store.

I 100% agree with you but this probably why Capcom was probably hesitant to bring it to the states or Europe since after all 1. It's a download-only game for Europeans and Americans with really no advertising and with no retail copy to get people to blind-buy it for a good fighting game they never experienced before. 2. Not many people on this site even seen Fate/Stay Night anime series. 3. Well I could think of other reasons why but that would take to long.

Point is it's an excellent under-rated fighting game that became available to Americans and Europeans so that they wouldn't feel left out on 1 of the best PS2 ports to PSP to enjoy but in the end it's just going downhill for Capcom for trying and this could convince companies that maybe it really isn't that great of an idea to try and bring these outside of Japan if people are not spending the money to buy games that no one ever thought would ever hit the states or Europe.

It's a shame really I mean Fate/Unlimited Codes is like a perfect fighting game. Sure it doesn't have an English dub and that not everything is subtitled in English but for the most part it's worth every cent for the $30 charge.

Yep, with that kind of price tag people have really gotta give this game a chance because all I heard is Tekken and Soul Calibur when people talk bout fighters on PSP. IMO, this game is just as good as those if not better.
