This list is worthless to Terminator fans. Unsure? We already knew that.

Since there hasn't been an official announcement there's nothing more you can expect. The Entertainment Weekly link has it as a long shot.

The better list is the list in the link to the Entertainment Weekly page which shows every show and what it's status is. That list is updated when more is known. Should start learning the fate of NBC shows today as they are the first to unveil their fall schedule tomorrow and it is likely the status of some shows will leak out early.

the fact that Arrested Development got canceled yet American Idol will probably go on forever is a reflection of the pathetic state of our society.

I've heard that Mad Men may not be brought back as well.

NOOOOOO!!!

Reaper is one the best shows on T.V, why can't CW just give it another time slot or something. (group it with Smallville / Supernatural, I'm sure ratings would go up)

Also dissapointed to see that Sit Down Shut Up is gone and that Castle is still on thin ice.

American Idol and all of these reality shows will keep going sadly, they don't cost as much to produce as other shows, the creator and producers make a lot of money since they are popular and the public love them because they feel involved in what is going on. It's truly sad but it's life.

Mad Men's 3rd season doesn't even start until this summer, and as it's AMC's biggest hit and has won Best Drama at both the Golden Globes (twice) and Emmys. This is one of the safest shows on television.

Its so dissapointing NBC is going to have to cancel good shows like Life to fit their new time slot for Jay Leno.

I agree, and I wonder if Leno's recent health scare made NBC realize how risky it is to put 1/3 of your prime time schedule in the hands of a 59 year old man. I wonder what NBC would do if something were to happen to Leno this fall and he was unable to do his show. It's not like they could just greenlight and immediately start filming new shows and they'd likely end up showing reruns of existing shows or putting USA shows on for months.

Better Off Ted's not on the list anywhere. Anybody know anything about that show's status? Are they even going to air the second half of the season? It's really grown on me.

EDIT: Never mind. I found it at the Entertainment Weekly link. It can still go either way.

This is what I don't get. What naked photos is Jay Leno threatening NBC execs with? I wish they'd put all of these talk shows on their own channel.

Simply put, they pushed Leno off of the Tonight Show before he was ready to go (they were afraid Conan would jump ship if they didn't give him the show). The result was that the number 1 rated late night talk show host was now free to jump to another network. They panicked and came up with the new show for him to prevent that from happening. It helped that NBC has been circling the drain and this new show will save them tons of production money. Personally, I think it'll backfire big time. They now have 4 hours of talk shows on every night. That's insane.

This is all correct, and the bigger problem was that Conan's 2004 contract extension said that if he didn't get The Tonight Show in 2009 he received a $40 million buyout and would be free to sign elsewhere. When Conan signed this contract they assumed Leno would be ready to retire but that didn't turn out to be the case. NBC couldn't afford to buyout and lose Conan, but they also didn't want Leno to go to another network, as he had discussions with Fox to create a competing 11:30 show and with Sony to do a syndicated talk show.

It is true that NBC is going to save a ton of money by having Leno's show 5 nights a week. However, these savings will badly hurt NBC long-term. By cutting 5 hours of programming they are losing future profits off of shows they own and syndicate and DVD/Blu-ray/download sales. In addition it is likely that Conan's ratings will be hurt because Leno will likely get guests first and people may not watch Conan's show with guests that have already been on Leno's show.

It was just announced that NBC won't announce a decision on Chuck, Law & Order, Medium, and My Name is Earl until May 19.
