I don't think Angels & Demons and Star Trek can be compared. They are two different kinds of films.

They are 2 totally different types of movies.

While I plan to see this as well as Star Trek I don't think it was wise of Columbia/Sony to release this the week after Star Trek with all the great word of mouth that ST is getting. I'm sure Angels & Demons will be a great movie, but I think Star Trek can reach a broader spectrum of movie goers and could be the #1 movie 2 weeks in a row and putting A&D at a #2 opening weekend.

Angels & Demons, another movie for me to see the week after it comes out. What can I say, I hate watching movies in a crowded theatre.
