Default Bringing the Turntable Out of Hiding

I have a turntable that has been in the basement, along with a quite extensive LP collection, just collecting dust. I originally put it down there because it was taking up room and WAF. I have decided that I am going to return it to its rightful place in my audio rig, The MA speakers are calling for it. It is a cheap Pioneer for now, but it will be upgraded in the not so distant future. I own every US Beatles LP, every Led Zeppelin LP, most all Pink Floyd LPs, etc. I can't wait to get it up and going....This weekend I will be enjoying all of my LPs and I am stoked!

My driving factor: http://www.prefixmag.com/news/modest...kin-sin/28892/ Only 4000 copies...

I have another one of their limited releases, love me some vinyl...

That's wonderful to hear Jason, because those vinyls you mentioned need some lovin'...Turntable lovin' that is. I had a Pioneer PL-15 with a Shure M95ED cartridge way back when (shall we say early 70's ).

Stupid deck. Hooked it all up and put on The White Album by The Beatles, one of my favorites.

It was all wobbly, skipping around like crazy. Like the deck wasn't balanced? If that makes sense?

Long story short, that deck has caused me enough headaches. Not worth the $120 I spent on it five years ago. Into the trash it goes, time to start saving for a better one!

Can you say, "waiting to be played!"

Any doubles you may see are to preserve mint copies. The Beatles portion of my collection is my favorite, but there are a lot of other albums I cherish as well. I never picked up "Yellow Submarine", so I guess it isn't fully complete. I was scowering for that one around the time I stopped collecting....which I will be picking back up very soon! Also wish I had the "Butcher Cover" on Yesterday and Today!!!

More of the pride and joy. I still need Coda and Presence (for some reason I thought I had them?), they just weren't real high on the priority list. But, I WILL HAVE THEM!

Oh....a couple of my favorite LPs that don't get enough recognition.

I can't wait to get back up and running again!
