Unhappy Sony CFO states the PS3 is still selling at a 10% loss per console

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/200...profitability/

This could complicate the price cut many people anticipate this fall.

Dunno, the PS3 seems a little packed tight to me as it is, compress it and there's less room for everything which could mean it breaks more easily.

Ya a price drop on the current consoles might not be viable if this is true, but a slim one for cheaper may just be the way to go.

A slimmer PS3 is the way to go but I hope it doesn't look like that rumored one but oh well I would still buy a slim PS3 anyways.

In what region I wonder? The NA price is getting subsidized by the EU and JP price as far as I know.
