Default HDMI Laptop question

Hey,

I'll buy a new laptop soon and I wanna know if my laptop has HDMI will it display the screen on my HDTV even if I watch other stuff than Blu-Ray like a regular DVD or downloaded .avi file for example ?!?!?

yes. I have an HDMI output from my LT. All you'll be doing is making the tv turn into a monitor out. If you see it on your screen you'll see it on the TV.

Blu-ray will only play on one screen at a time!
You will have to select the HDTV only, or the laptop display only - can't play on both at the same time!

Yes, it does work quite well!

yhea that's normal, I was more wondering about displaying other stuff than blu-ray on my HDTV like .mpeg or .avi....

Sure! No problem!
With most other items, you can display on both displays at the same time if you want.
The protection on Blu-ray doesn't like two displays...
