Default Terminator Salvation

Anyone looking forward to this game? its suppose to come out this Tuesday but there doesn't seem to be any reviews on it, which leads to me it won't be really good.

Too bad there is no demo to test out, but it does seem that it will drop in price pretty fast.

Seeing gameplay trailers and previews, it seemed interesting.

Your thoughts?

Unfortunately, aside from the trophies, there isn't much talk about this game. More than likely the AI and various other things about this game will not be fleshed out.

i'm probably going to wait till this is around the 20 dollar price range. might bite for 30 if i hear enough good things about it. however, i'm not keeping my hopes up for a gears of war type experience.

i wish it luck!

Will buy Terminator: Salvation, Riddick, Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil 5 when they hit the 20 dollar bin, have a ton of games still left to play. Unless Terminator the game gets a rating of over 8.8-9 it can wait on the store shelves.

Definately going to see the movie though at the cinema, Terminator movies always have a smart story.

It looks more like something you would rent or if the price is cheap.

I dunno. I watched the G4 Terminator special. The game looks as if it has promise. The game takes place to kind of fill you in on the events leading up to the film. It uses a cover system similar to Rainbow Six Vegas.

As for Riddick. The game is already a sweet deal. It has "escape from butcher bay" remastered on the disk and the all new mission "Assault on Dark Atheana". Not to mention the online is awesome. Real good game.

Yeah, I saw that too, but I'm not sure that this really has that much to offer aside from different cover in different levels. It does have a few levels where you ride in the back of a vehicle and shoot down enemies though. Reminds me of the classic Sega version - loved that one

It is available right now at Amazon for $50.

4 Hours!!! I guess it REALLY is a rental. On the plus side, if you play on hard difficultly that is 4 hours to get 100%/Platinum. =P

I hope this movie is far better, even though I know a video game and movie are on the same level, that was disappointing.

Terminator : Salvation the game, is an utter failure according to 3 main gaming websites.

The game, made by GRIN, a no name brand gaming company in Sweden ruins yet another Terminator game, will we ever get a decent terminator game? Atari screwd us 3 games in a row, well 2 1/2, now these clowns mess it up.

Will wait for the 10 dollar bin on this one sometime next year. Not worth paying 20$+ for a 4-5 hour game. Bunch of morons.

I purchased it and am about halfway through. It's not bad and I'm actually enjoying it so far. The missions are repetitive and short but the graphics and basic gameplay are good. It's just not worth anywhere near $60. As a fan of the Terminator stuff, I couldn't resist.

i'm sorry for your $60 loss. however i would love it if you told us all how the hard mode is? is it actually hard? or is it a cake walk?

the trophy hunters will praise you.

sorry, I'm playing on normal now. It's pretty easy but there are some levels I've had to play multiple times. I almost had the big subway battle won a couple of times. The biggest problem on every level is a lack of ammo.

My guess would be that hard would be very manageable.
