Well I have heard that the SVS PB13-Ultra is the BEST sub (for the money) period. Personally, when I look to add a new sub to my setup I am going with PB13-Ultra. Probably next year some time.

I'm going to be running one of these to a Onkyo 705 in a 16 x24 room. Owners of either of these please let me know the major differences between the two subs bass quality wise it would be greatly appreciated once again thanks in advance!!!

I have the Axiom EP350 given to me by a buddy, let me tell you it's amazing, the bass is so deep you can feel it in your bones. Sorry don't know about your other sub choice.

I've seen the PB13-Ultra compare favorably to the EP600. (If you search on the Axiom message board, you may be able to find some comparisons--I know there was at least one.) I'd go for the SVS for the value. I went with Axiom for my EP800s (had an EP600 prior), but there are better deals out there. SVS seems to be high bang-for-buck, along with HSU Research and Elemental Designs. Anyway, I think you'll be more than happy with the PB13-Ultra. I'd say the only reasons to go with Axiom for subs would be for aesthetics or if you're going all-out and getting the EP800.

you can also find a great thread posted somewhere, indicating not only the specs, but a straightforward comparison amongst a number (if not majority) of subs out there, including ID companies.

id also suggest the SVS, but then again, i cant really say considering i havent done an analysis on the axiom. auditioning for any speaker is essential. with reputable companies, they'd allow this to occur for shipping cost taken care of by the consumer.

I did this a year ago and wound up going with the PB 13 Ultra and couldn't be happier (rest of my speakers are Axiom). Sorry, nothing substantive to add.

I was also looking at this last year and opted for an SVS sub instead of Axiom (I was looking between the Axiom EP350 and the SVS 20-39 PCi... and I ended up choosing the SVS 20-39 PC Plus).

I have to admit that the my SVS sub is my favorite piece of gear in my setup!
