When I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you.
![]() One of the baddest dudes on the planet deserves his own official thread here on the forum, so here it is. The following will be a list of Blu-rays available and those scheduled for a release. Feel free to also use this thread to discuss and compare the current releases of his movies and let us know if you find out there's a new movie being released in the near future, to help keep the list below up to date. This is how it works: If there's no flag next to the title of the movie, it means it has been released in America and possibly other countries as well around the world. If there is a flag next to it, it has been released in that country and perhaps a few other ones, but not in America. At the moment, the following kick-ass Chuck Norris movies has been released in and/or outside of North America on Blu-ray: The Way of the Dragon (1972) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Octagon (1980) ![]() Review An Eye for an Eye (1981) ![]() Review Lone Wolf Mcquade (1983) ![]() Review Missing in Action (1984) ![]() Review Missing in Action 2: The Beginning (1985) ![]() Review Code of Silence (1985) ![]() Review The Delta Force (1986) ![]() Review Firewalker (1986) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() Hero and the Terror (1988) ![]() Review Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection (1990) - Scheduled for release on December 8th, 2015 ![]() Forest Warrior (1996) ![]() Dodgeball (2004) ![]() Review The Expendables 2 (2012) ![]() Review Stop by again for updates! ![]() Last edited by Scottie; 03-08-2017 at 02:42 AM. |

I used to always check out the LA Times Calendar section on Sunday when they had full page ads for upcoming movies. So, I see an ad for Chuck's flick, "Hellbound", opening the next Friday. And then, the next week, it didn't come out. Does anyone know anything about this? Pulled from theaters before release because of Cannon's downfall? I've never seen another movie advertised to be released in theaters that was cancelled like that.

Thanks, Markgway
The really weird thing is they had it coming to theaters up until days before. I know Cannon pretty much went down long before. |

Yeah, would love to have Invasion U.S.A. on Blu-Ray.
Funny that both Chuck and Arnold fought the Devil in action flicks: Hellhound and End of Days, and played themselves in hero-worship fantasy action films: Sidekicks and Last Action Hero. |

We need Braddock: Missing in Action 3 released on Blu-Ray in the US. I think it's, by far, the best of the series, even if it doesn't follow continuity with the previous films. I don't know why it didn't come out when the other two hit Blu.

Sidekicks was a guilty pleasure of mine as a kid. Not just cuz it was basically "Last Action Hero" with Norris (though this was first), but because Danica McKellar was my first crush.
Oh and the training scenes are cool to. A shame the score's never been released. |

I'm with you man. My Missing In Action set is incomplete! Lol. It's been so long since I've seen the third one, don't really remember it too well. How did it break continuity?

![]() ![]() I recently purchased the Triple Feature Blu-ray set of The Delta Force, Lone Wolf McQuade, and Code of Silence, since it's on sale for less than $10, and since I've been wanting to relive the glorious 1980s nostalgia associated with these films. I'm saving my favorite, Lone Wolf McQuade, for last, but I did watch The Delta Force and Code of Silence this weekend... The Delta Force I remember The Delta Force being an urgent and intense movie when I rented it on VHS upon its release back in the day, but it comes off as just a fun popcorn flick these days in 2015. The movie benefits from a stellar cast, including the always-tough Lee Marvin (the one actor who is notably tougher than Chuck Norris himself), Steve James (Avenging Force), Robert Forster (in a unique turn as a Middle Eastern terrorist!), the amazing Martin Balsam (12 Angry Men, Psycho), Bo Svenson, Shelley Winters, a young Kim Delaney as a pretty nun, and an oddly sexy Hanna Schygulla as a brave stewardess. Alan Silvestri's music score is a win across the board. Chuck Norris is awesome, as always, especially during his motorcycle sequences. A sad moment toward the end of the film comes off as inappropriately comical these days, because of the "Chuck Norris Facts" online jokes about how he never cries, but it still works in terms of the movie itself. All in all, The Delta Force suffers from a few pacing lulls, but it stands tall as a fun action film relic of the Reagan era. I love these sort of movies. The Blu-ray looks and sounds as good as I expected. I was not expecting a demo disc, but I have no complaints whatsoever. Code of Silence I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy Code of Silence back in the day, and it still holds up quite wonderfully as a police thriller with a dark edge. Henry Silva (Sharky's Machine) is brilliant as the villain. Dennis Farina, whom I will always think of as Lombard from the Miami Vice television series, is great as a friendly officer ally. Molly Hagan (Some Kind of Wonderful) is a good damsel-in-distress. Chuck Norris kicks some solid tail in this movie, especially during a fun warehouse scene toward the end, but he also delivers some better-than-average dramatic moments. I love the bar scene where he counsels the rookie cop, played by Joseph Guzaldo. Once again, the Blu-ray looks and sounds good. I like the picture quality of this one a little more than I liked the picture quality of The Delta Force. I'll probably watch Lone Wolf McQuade tonight. |

It's mainly childhood nostalgia ties that I have to Lone Wolf McQuade, although, when I revisited it on DVD a few years back, I found that the movie still holds up well, thanks in part to Barbara Carrera, whom I'm always happy to see in a movie, and to the end fight sequence.
