Mysterio Spin-off Coming - Blu-ray Forum

More Spin-off projects: Did not see a thread for this...

Other projects will focus on Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio. The idea, says a studio source, is to build out a world gradually rather than launch one immediately, as they had been trying with Spider-Man villain ensemble Sinister Six, which has been shelved.

So it's getting an Avengers treatment? Have six movies focus on a villain then lead into a Sinister Six movie featuring all of them. Okay.

Sony has some mad money laying around. I think Mysterio would be a fun character based on his background in special effects and other things but probably wouldn't be a big box office draw on his own without Spider-Man being in the movie.

What I want to know is, what villains can Marvel possibly use in the Homecoming sequels if Sony is making a movie about EVERY Spider-Man villain?

Remaining villains not done in the last two projects - (that Im curious to see)

The Scorpion - tech costume.. Jameson connection(?)
Tombstone - grounded gangster story
Morbius - sci-fi/supernatural fusion
Silver Sable - espionage / Winter Soldier elements

Spidey's world is not enough to sustain a whole universe of films. Just make good Spiderman films!
