Hey, Randy, you seem like a nice guy, so I'm wondering if you'll ask either Martin Liebman or Jeffery Kaufman to review the Blu-ray release of Paramount/Nickelodeon's Barnyard because my curiosity about the quality, audio and extras is killing me!

Well, I think you'll like it. I recently user reviewed it and it was a good release; superb quality and great audio for a Dolby Digital mono track.

Afternoon, Randy. Quick to the point, I recently user-reviewed the Woody Woodpecker Screwball Collection Blu-ray and rated it a 4.0 for its wonderful video and hearable audio. But since you've reviewed some animation-based Blu-ray releases, I wonder if you can take a look at it and give us your opinion for the sake of many people who might buy this.

I forgot to mention that the jump cut edit you mentioned happening in the "Prince of the City" Blu-Ray is also present in the DVD disc of the movie. Sidney Lumet and the editor must have made the cut that way. Thank you so much for your reviews.

I appreciate the review. I am glad you spotted the color differences between the 1983 release and the Complete Novel. Not sure if you watched Burum's interview but he discusses how he and Francis wanted to create a different presentation for the new cut in 2005. The original version, our goal was to stay faithful to the original color grading, however using HDR where Stephen Burum thought was appropriate. Happy to discuss in more detail if you ever want to chat.

A correction for your very good Mad Love review: the cover art is taken from the original window card (with Isabel Jewell's name carefully removed, as she doesn't actually appear in the film), not the one-sheet.

I loved your review of "Prince of the City". I do have the 2007 DVD and I checked the scene you were asking about. It is the same on the DVD version. The name "Tiny" is over-dubbed on the soundtrack. Thank you for all your great reviews. I bought Blu-Ray of the movie and look forward to watching it.
