Sony STR-DH700 Question

I had started a post earlier seeking a decent receiver for my poor student self. A lot was recommended and the Sony STR-DG720 seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, since that's an old model, it is pretty tough to find new or from a trusted site.

I was wondering how the new model, the STR-DH700 compares? I am just looking for a repeater (the PS3 will handle the audio) and lossless sound. I am a total amateur with audio though, so this stuff is just difficult for me to find and understand.
