Default Enter the Dragon dubbing?

Just picked this movie up, and this will be the first time I have ever seen the movie. Anyway, I am a martial arts purist, and love these films. I am also picky, and like the original languages like Cantonese, while having subtitles on the bottom. Anyway, what was the original language track for EtD?

It was meant to be English. But it was filmed Hong Kong style where dialog was done post. It explains the dubbed sound to the dialog. Some of the minor actors (mostly Hong Kong) were dubbed over. Shih Kien who played Mr. Han was dubbed by Keye Luke.

I LOVE this movie and all of its campiness. The only problem I had with it was the horrible lossy track, if I had known I would've kept waiting to get it.

it's the source material. it's from 1973...even with lossless it won't sound that much better.

It was done in English but in Hong Kong early 70's so it was dub in studios anyway, so the sound will be a little weird.

I am surprise you've never seen this movie, it's the reference for kung fu movie. I a way I envy you seeing it for the first time, I've seen this movie over 500 times I think by now, have fun.

I have seen Enter the Dragon tons of time on VHS.I have never seen it on Dvd.

Picked it up on Blu about 2weeks ago and saw it last week..PQ is excellent, much better than I expected, the AQ is ok you really notice the dubbing that was done on the movie.

Still one of my favorite.
