Default REVIEW: Enter The Dragon

Hey guys, I just picked up Enter the Dragon at the local Walmart. Here is a brief review of the BD. PQ is about a 4/5 and Audio is 3/5. I was very surprised about the PQ though. I am finding that the remastering of the older titles are coming out brillantly in comparison to some of the 2000 - 2006 releases.

Getting back to EtD. The BD comes as a basic port from the HD dvd. All features are present. Lots of Documentaries... All in all the same as the most recent SD version and HD dud. As I stated earlier though, the PQ is really cleaned up. A must buy for any Bruce Lee enthusiast.

mine will be coming in the mail next week....

I feel even better about it after what you just said..

I also like what BD does with the older movies..

I want to get a clockwork orange, the shining, caddyshack and taxi driver on BD whenever they come out....

How can people have this if it says it's not supposed to come out until April 17?

You have to remember that this transfer is from the botched, bobbed 1080i master batch at the beginning of WB's foray into HD media.

It does suffer from interlace artifacting to some degree and may only give a real world vertical resolution of 540p.

Default Is there a Blu-Ray version with Cantonese?

I've been looking for a version of this with not only the English audio track but also the Cantonese audio track.

If this was released in Hong Kong it would probably solve my problem but so far I've come up with a blank.

I would guess there is a Mandarin dub for this for mainland China.

Not Lee's best movie at all.. but it looks good for it's age. Road Warrior is still the best looking old movie I have seen on BD.

For me, its a toss up between the Big Boss/Chinese Connection and Game of Death (too bad he couldn't finish it).
